"Several years back, our founder Finn Gomez was given an assignment, in middle school, to create a pseudo business; creating a name, business plan, advertisement, sales pitch, etc… He chose to create a salsa business with his great grandmother's recipe in mind. After all was said and done, he asked why we couldn't actually create this business, and sell the salsa, in honor of his great grandmother. From there, Detroit Salsa Company was born."
