These eggs are produced by our friends in the Amish Community south of Jackson, near Homer. We have been working with them for almost 8 years. One of the things we enjoy most about this job is visiting these farmers. No cell phones or cell towers, no television and almost no machinery. We always feel more grounded after having visited with them for a couple hours.
The chickens are allowed to roam on the pastures (as long as weather permits!) and they consume on a non-GMO vegetable feed as well as the available vegetation and bugs on the pasture. *Feed does contain non-GMO soy for those that are considering allergens.
