GRASS-FED & FORAGE-FED (no grain) ~ PASTURE-RAISED

Established in 1991, RGM Livestock is run solely by Ray Moses. The farm originated as a beef and hay business, specializing in hay for horses. It covers the span of four completely different townships including East Central Livingston County to West Central Oakland County. Ray pastures a black angus beef cattle herd for a conception to plate business. He raises all animals from start to finish and all his animals are raised on organic practices. Ray uses no vaccinations or pharmaceuticals on his cattle. His animals are forage fed and finished and that feed contains no grain, starch or chemicals. Ray was also involved in an organization called “Certified Naturally Grown” which is a group of farmers who certify other small farms. Since the USDA certification is so expensive for these small farmers, this Certified Naturally Grown certification is extremely helpful for them to gain customer confidence in their products. Ray believes in eating whole foods and believes that buying forage-fed meat is a step towards a healthy lifestyle.
