Easier Order Deadlines!

We are working hard to provide excellent service to all of our customers and have extended order deadlines! All of our biweekly deliveries, whether you get a home delivery or pick up at a location, are scheduled on certain days of the week depending on the route for that area. Now, instead of at midnight four days before your biweekly pickup date or home delivery date, the new order deadline is at 7:00 a.m. just two or three days before, according to this schedule:

• Wednesday Location Pickup Day or Home Delivery Day, Order Deadline is 7:00 a.m. on Monday of that week
• Thursday Location Pickup Day or Home Delivery Day, Order Deadline is 7:00 a.m. on Monday of that week
• Friday Location Pickup Day or Home Delivery Day, Order Deadline is 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday of that week
• Saturday Location Pickup Day or Home Delivery, Order Deadline is 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday of that week

We hope these efforts, to make ordering closer to your delivery date, will make it easier for meal planning. While we know some food delivery services offer next day, or even same day delivery, please remember we source many of our foods directly from small, Michigan farmers and food artisans. Also, we don't have a large storage warehouse. So, after you place your order, we are often ordering products and picking them up just prior to delivery. The advantage with us is that many of the foods you receive are fresher than other food delivery services, have a shorter supply chain with less of a carbon footprint, and come from local producers and food artisans. While we continue to source from Michigan first, some of our foods come from further afield, but we will continue to strive to have those foods available in this shortened time frame.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make adjustments to our ordering and delivery schedule. And, thank you for continuing to support Michigan farms!

Sincerely,
Bill Taylor, CFO
(Chief Foraging Officer
