Biehl's Circle B Turkey Ranch

Mancelona, MI

James Biehl has been a turkey farmer his entire life, his father purchasing the farm in 1960. James took over running the farm back in in 1977. And 45 years later they’re still going strong, raising thousands of turkeys for Michigan families and their Thanksgiving dinners. James raises around 4,000 turkeys each year, he receives the turkeys mid-summer when they are babies and takes care of them until they are old enough to roam outside on their own. Biehl’s does have an off-season but things really get going in the summer months: July and August when the chicks are hatched. Biehl's use all vegetable non-gmo feed, no bone meal, steroids, or antibiotics and turkeys roam freely between open range and pole building.
